Sorina has been working with children and families in a variety of settings, including in-home and school based mental health services. She completed her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University, as well as received a degree in Children and Family Ministry with a Counseling Emphasis at University of Northwestern. She has a passion for working with children using Experiential Play Therapy and family attachment-based interventions to help children and families thrive, and has completed certifications in both Experiential Play Therapy and Attachment-Focused Therapy. Sorina has a particular interest in adoption and foster care issues, along with trauma concerns. She also values supporting the caregivers/family as they navigate parenting children with unique needs. Sorina sees children primarily aged 2-9 years old, however she enjoys working with children/teens of all ages.
