Mackenzie Kerber

Mackenzie is co-owner and co-clinical director at Apricity Counseling and Wellness. She started the clinic in collaboration with Sam Franklin, LMFT. Together, we have the dream of creating a safe space for all to receive a variety of trauma informed healing. Mackenzie received her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University, Minnesota. She has over 10 years of experience seeing clients in group and individual settings.

 

Mackenzie enjoys working with clients 18 years and older with symptoms of trauma and mood disorders.  In particular, she enjoys working with female identifying clients looking for support in learning coping skills and processing trauma as they navigate infertility, prenatal and postpartum life, parenting, relationships and finding their sense of self.

 

Mackenzie uses her training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Internal Family Systems to help direct care with clients. She is also an LPCC board approved supervisor. 

 

Mackenzie is committed to doing training as well as working on personal growth and healing that helps her provide an anti-racist and anti-oppressive safe space in therapy.  In her free time, Mackenzie enjoys spending time with her family, cuddling her dogs, hiking and fighting the patriarchy.
